Subjects

What matters to you, matters to us

While we are open to bringing up any subjects or exploring any questions you may have on your mind, we are particularly fond of subjects which we feel have the most potential to improve your personal life as well as benefit the greater community. Here are a few samples of some of the subjects we enjoy discussing the most…

Relationships

We are social creatures. How we relate to one another matters, but sometimes figuring out what motivates us to act and react to each other is not so clear. Lets explore relationships and gain wisdom in identifying what works and what hurts.

Parenting

Parenting is one of the most challenging endeavours that you will ever undertake. While there is much information available on the subject, in modern times intergenerational knowledge of parenting, house keeping and realistic expectations has, for the most part been traded in for schooling and daycare. Many modern parents find themselves disconnected from each other and the children they raise. Let's find the path to reconnection.

Nutrition

While modern agriculture and transportation have made food more abundant and accessible than ever, decisions about what to eat have perhaps never been so complicated. Wether the concern is based in food ethics, nutrition, self reliance, affordability or food security, the science and the love of what we put on the table is a subject worth exploring.

Environment

While most people will agree that a clean environment, capable of sustaining life as we know it is, without debate, an objective to aim at, there is much to be learned in the way of what the best means to achieve this is, or even which specific problem should be prioritized.

Education

Despite so many available ways to educate our children, the need parents have for child supervision in order to maximize their income, can often limit the options. Let us look at what is possible and identify routes for the best outcomes for our children.

Politics

What is legal and what is moral are two concepts too often in conflict. While politicians are limited to promises they feel will be popular with their potential electors, more often than not, they disappoint once in office. Policies that work in one context may not be appropriate in a different context. While many will be antipathetic to the use of force by government, most see it as a necessary evil to keep society running. Can we do better? If so, how?

How to participate

You bring us a subject of authentic curiosity that you would like to explore. Although exploring this theme may be very academic at times, it is important that this is of deep interest to you and not just academic in as far as it relates to you.

What we do

We will read through your question thoughtfully and get in touch with you for further precision should we feel we can make a show from the subject you brought us. We will then set up a time for a call and and answer any questions you may have about the process.
